Sound
Sound means sound, the sound which
is heard by our ears is called sound. From sound
vibrations are produced. When we play any instrument or blow air into
it, vibration is
produced and Sound is produced by vibration. In sitar,
guitar, violin, sarangi sound is
produced by the vibration of strings, in Dholak, Tabla, Drum sound is produced by the
vibration of the leather and Sound is produced by the vibration of air in
mouth organ and flute.
Sound is produced by the vibrations
of the vocal cords inside our throat.
Some sounds give us pleasure which
are called sweet sounds like Lata ji's voice, we
dislike some sounds like engine noise, noise of
people. Only melodious sound is acceptable
in music.
