Its simple meaning is the earring that is put in the ears. But in music, Murki comes under the ancient Sphurit Gamak. In this, three Swar are sung or played in fast pace like S R S, R N S. Murki is written like this  or  Murki is mostly used in Tappa, Thumri, Dadra.
