Teen Taal

 

        Introduction to Taal: This Taal contains sixteen mantras. 4 divisions with 4–4 amounts each are present. The first measure has an even (x), the fifth and thirteenth measures have a clap, and the ninth measure has a blank (0). Classical music makes use of this Taal, or beat. In this Taal, Bhajan and Shabad are also sung somewhere. This is the tabla's Taal, or rhythm.
