Meend
Meend is a type of ancient gamak. To move from one vowel (Swar) to another without
breaking voice is called Meend. E.g.:- While going from S to M, R G only has to be touched. One does
not have to stop at these notes. Those Swar are not heard separately. For
Meend, make an upside down half-moon on the vowels (Swar) like . Singing from the Meend Pigmentation
and softness comes in more form in the playing.
