Taal Roopak (Rythum Roopak)

The Matras of Taal Roopak number seven. Three matras make up the first segment, and two matras make up the second and third. There are no Taals with an empty top except this one. On the fourth and sixth Matra (stanzas), there is clapping. Both light and classical music use this Taal. The Taal of the tabla is this. This Taal is used for singing of all kinds, including ragas, songs, ghazals, bhajans, and so on.
